The Hotel Kreuz in Malters is located just outside of Lucerne, only 10 km from the centre of the city. It is a cosy family-run hotel with a personal touch, suitable for individual travellers as well as for families. There are 25 rooms, including rooms with more beds for families.
The hotel is always open, while the restaurants is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Pia and Pirmin Fallegger are looking forward to welcoming you to the Hotel Kreuz. Children are always welcome as well. What makes a stay at the Hotel Kreuz incomparable is its personal touch, which is guaranteed by our long tradition of hospitality. Call it "old-fashioned", but we want nothing more than guests who want for nothing and who feel good all around.
Our hotel consists of the main building and of the "Villa zum Kreuz" next door.

Food & beverage

Hospitality, atmosphere, cosiness and child-friendliness characterise the ambience of the restaurant Kreuz. It is open from Wednesday to Sunday, Mondays and Tuesdays are off. In summer there is a large terrace.
This family-friendly hotel is wheelchair-accessible and offers home-style cooking and six different speciality weeks a year. Especially for families: While you are enjoying a cosy meal, your children will immerse themselves in a totally different world - the kid's world at the Kreuz with playstations, a lego house, a märli telephone and a painting contest.

The Hotel Kreuz offers 25 rooms. They include 6 rooms with more beds, whih are especially suitable for families: 1 quintuple, 2 quadruple and 3 triple rooms.
The price is CHF 20 per child. Baby cots are free of charge.

Area information

Malters is located on the Pilgrim's Way in the valley of the Little Emme River. Many destinations can be reached quickly from here.

Travel information

Our hotel has good transportation links and is only 15 min away from the centre of Lucerne, and 10 min from the Basle-Chiasso motorway. It is an ideal stopover on the way south.
From the A2 motorway take the exit Emmen Süd. Then follow the blue signs in the direction of Bern/Entlebuch. You will arrive at our hotel in 12 min.

Dogs can stay at our hotel free of charge.
From midyear, half the rooms will be equipped with Wireless LAN.
