The Coronado is a cosy litte hotel, quite central in the City of Zurich.

We would like to invite you, to get to know our hotel a little better. We have a familiar, modern business- and family hotel with 36 rooms. We will do everything to make your stay here in Zurich an unforgetable one.

Hotel information

The hotel offers parking (unsecured outdoors), which is free of charge.You can also park your car in the garage at the university. It will take 5 minutes walk through the park.

Internet (MODEM) is available at the hotel and all rooms. In the lobby (WLAN) you can use it free of charge.
You need to bring your laptop and a cable for the room.
However you can also use the computer in the conference room for CHF 8 per hour.

Pets (dogs) are allowed and are charged CHF 15 per day.
City Tax CHF 2.50 per person per night.

The hotel does not have disabled access.

Food & Beverage

Each morning we wake our guests with a rich breakfast buffet. Our chef Mr Valle and Mr Setteducati would like to care for you in our Italien speciality restaurant "La Golondrina". Refreshing Italian cuisine and the personal care are our main concerns. Please also try our speciality of the house, the incomparable and homemade ravioli, stuffed with boletus, veal or spinach... mamma mia, che buono!

Room information

Each of our 36 rooms has a modern fit up, provides bath room or shower, hairdryer, minibar. TV, touch tone phone with internet connection and most of them have air condition. The Coronado has undergone a total revovation in 1997.

Area information

The Hotel Coronado is situated very central; only about 10 minutes from the airport and Zurich main station, vis - à - vis the University Zurich Irchel. Just across the street a relaxing world is about to welcome you. Suddenly you`ll find yourself in a beautiful park with biotope, Finnish jogging path and benches, that invite you to linger…
The trams 7, 9, 10 und 14 stop right infront of the house and enable you to enjoy your ride throughout the whole city! Various stores are easy to reach by walking.
Besides that we also offer a shuttle bus - transfer from and to the airport for a reasonable charge. Details to that you`ll find under: This way please!

You have many possiblities to get to us:

By car: Coming from the airport or Bern / Basel

* freeway direction Zürich/City
* inside the Schöneichtunnel you exit to the right (Exit Unterstrass)
* after the next light go left into Schaffhauserstrasse
* after about 300m you`ll have the hotel to your right

Coming from Chur / Zug / Luzern

* in Zurich direction Flughafen / Transit
* go over Hardbrücke into the first tunnel (right under Bucheggplatz)
*
after the tunnel take the right lane direction Oerlikon / ZÜSPA
* take a right at the next light (into Wehntalerstrasse)
* you`ll see the hotel after about 200 m on your left (take the bus lane, last gateway before the light)

By airport shuttle:

* between terminal 1 + 2 (arrivals) you can find our bus, which runs to the following schedule:
06:15 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.
05:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. always to the full and half hour
* charges: SFr. 15,- / per person per way
* in the meantime (between (10.00 a.m. - 05.00 p.m.) please switch to one of the SLS shuttle (SFr. 15,- / per way and person)

By train

* from the main train station take tram # 10, 14 (direction Seebach), or 7 (direction Stettbach)
* go until tram station Milchbuck, cross the street... and there you are…

Making your reservation

Making your reservation is easy and safe. Fill out your dates of stay below and submit the form. Select one or more rooms. Then press the book now button. Subsequently the reservation form appears and you have to confirm your booking. We will then send you an instant confirmation message by email.

Before 18.00 hours on the day of arrival, after that, we will charge one night to the guest.

Child Policy

One child up to 6 years without babycot is free in parents room. Babycot is CHF 15.-- per night.
